Passengers looking for an economical way to reach Delhi Airport should consider travelling via high-speed Delhi Metro Rail. For reaching the airport premises in a hassle-free way, passengers are recommended to travel via the Airport Express or Orange line. It connects the New Delhi Railway station to T3, making it easier for the people travelling from other cities by train to reach IGI. Furthermore, the line interlinks the Delhi Airport to other prominent points in New Delhi within an estimated arrival time of 23 minutes. But, if you are boarding a flight from terminal 1, then travelling through the magenta line metro is recommended.
Ways to travel via Bus:
Another budget-friendly way to reach Delhi Airport from any part of the city is by using the DTC bus facility. This mode of transportation is also eco-friendly as DTC buses run on CNG. The buses run at an interval of 30 minutes and connect IGI with central parts of the city, including Connaught Place and the Interstate bus terminal.
