A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
Dear EHT Families,
As we reflect on the past month, we are filled with pride for the incredible achievements and community spirit displayed by our students, staff, and families.
While our Esports team didn’t advance to the final round of the tournament, their performance was a fantastic showcase of EHT PRIDE! Our students represented the school with dignity and enthusiasm, networking with players, coaches, and even college recruiters impressed by their skills. Special congratulations to Bryan Daniel-Perez, Nathan Bortu, and Max McNally, who advanced to the quarterfinals of the highly competitive 128-person Smash singles tournament. For our first appearance at this event, it was a stellar showing. With a talented group of underclassmen, the future of EHT Esports looks bright!
Congratulations to the following talented singers who earned spots in the All South Jersey Junior High and Senior High Choir! Their hard work and dedication are truly inspiring.

CLIMATE AND CULTURE
#DAY 1
The High School will be continuing with this bullying-prevention program for the 2024-25 school year!
#DAY1--a staff and student-led philosophy that will serve to foster a building-wide atmosphere of kindness and inclusion, outline expectations for behavior toward each other and the responsibility to intervene, report and to reach out for help if individuals observe bullying behavior.
This program was started a few years ago in Bergen County by the Tyler Clementi Foundation and has gained momentum throughout the state and country for use in schools, community groups, workplaces, and sports teams.
The premise is simple: the adults in the building make a “declaration statement” about behavior that is expected, as well as behavior that is unacceptable, and we all pledge to conduct ourselves accordingly.
This includes seeking help when we witness unacceptable behavior occurring--this notion is called being an Upstander--an #EHTUPSTANDER. Hit the play button below and see for yourself! 🤩
Has YOUR student taken their #Upstander Pledge yet?!?
Have them sign into their school account and click here! 😊
