SIMS BULLETIN

Dear Families,

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a restful and relaxing holiday season. We are now into the new year and ready to tackle the second half of the school year. I apologize for not sending a message out last week, but there was a lot of other communications going out and I didn’t want to just bombard you with more.

Make sure that you are keeping up to date with your students' progress in classes. You can always access their grades on-line, or email their teachers. We have two weeks left of the first semester and students are working diligently to either get caught up or stay caught up. We are still providing our students with many opportunities throughout the day to keep up with their work. If your student is telling you that they don’t have time during the day, just mention the word Advisory time. This will remind them to make sure they are using the time wisely to stay caught up.

It looks like we are going to get some weather over the next few days. Please make sure that you are up to date with the school notification process for weather delays. As long as you have not blocked our school number or the district office, you will receive notification by text, email and phone call. You could also look at the NSSD website and Facebook page to get updated information as well.

I hope everyone has a safe three day weekend.
