COUNSELOR'S/CRT & REEADING COACH CORNER
Can you believe May is already here??? We have grown so much this year in reading, writing, math, and science. We are focusing on making sure we are ready for our end of year testing and for transitioning to the next grade level!
If your child is in 3K-2nd grade they will be reviewing ALL their learning from the year over the next few weeks. Be sure to help your child with any and all math review assignments.
Our SCREADY assessment for students in grades 3rd-5th will be on May 7th (writing), May 8th (reading), May 14th (math), and May 16th-(science,4th grade only). If your child is in a tested grade please be sure to talk with them about taking their time, showing their work, and focusing on strategies they have learned this year. We want to SHOW WHAT WE KNOW.
Feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher or any member of the leadership team to ask what specifically your child needs to work on.
Thanks for supporting your child in their learning. Please be sure to enjoy talking to your student each day about what they learned and how they know they learned it!
ACTIVITIES TO GO...
Welcome to the "Activities to Go" section of our newsletter! We believe active involvement in your child's education is critical to success. This section will share valuable tips, engaging videos, and activities focused on your child's reading and/or math skills.
Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education. Together, we can empower our children to reach their full potential.
