November 22, 2024
Dear Middlebrook Families,
With Thanksgiving approaching, we find ourselves reflecting on all the wonderful things we have to be grateful for at Middlebrook. We are fortunate to have an amazing PTA and Fathers Club, exceptional educators, support staff and students. To prepare for a season of thankfulness you can reflect on the blessings of your life, express gratitude to others regularly and practice mindful moments to appreciate the small things. Don't forget to set aside time for self reflection and consider ways to give back to your community. The next week and following month will be very busy for everyone.
Trumbull Public Schools will have an Early Release Day, 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, November 27th. School will also be closed on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th for Thanksgiving Recess.
Warmly,
Debbie Ponte, Principal
Michele Molloy, Assistant Principal

Staff Spotlight
Middlebrook Building Substitutes
We are very fortunate to have three outstanding building substitutes at Middlebrook. Mr. Flynn is a well loved member of our staff, often seen giving high fives and recognizing each student by name. Both Miss Kenney and Miss Barese are future teachers and have chosen our school to help prepare themselves to be the amazing educators we know they will become. We are so grateful to have them in our school each and every day. We are certain your children go home and tell you much about them!
Fathers Club
If you have any questions about the club, please email your Co-Presidents at middlebrookfathersclub@gmail.com
On December 5th, the Fathers club will be hosting a pizza night/day where Middlebrook families can order from Crown Pizza ALL DAY! Order available for pick-up, delivery or dine in. Be sure to provide the promo code “Middlebrook”. Proceeds of all orders will be generously donated back to the PTA! Please see the flyer below for more details!
On January 11th, Middlebrook Hockey Night will be taking place at Sacred Heart University! Come watch a game, support your school, and don’t forget to wear your spirit wear! Wait, you don’t have spirit wear?!?! Get on Membership Tool Kit today and order away!
