Seventh Grade English Language Arts Teacher
Prepares English language art lessons based on Common Core.
Collaborates with the seventh and eighth grade team by developing various multimedia and technology infused presentations and lessons. Uses differentiated instruction and both formative and summative assessments to evaluate student work. Designs various cross-curriculum activities to enhance connections between school subjects.Replaced the conventional educational instruction system by introducing a variety of intellectually appropriate instructional materials, targeted at attaining academic excellence results from students who possess a varied range of emotional maturity. Technology Site Lead
Consults with faculty in the application of design methods and the use of technology tools in order to enhance instruction. Plans, develops, and teach professional development workshops to increase an understanding of instructional design and the integration of various technology tools and applications. Designs and develops workshops and professional development programs to instruct district staff on the integration of instructional technologies through the Tech Think Tank.
Collaborates with the district Technology Committee to plan, develop, select, evaluate, and implement instructional technology: 1:1 Chromebook rollout, digital citizenship curriculum, and training. Works directly with the district technology director, technician, and specialist to resolve technology issues on site.
