Parking Lot Arrival
Beginning Monday, all students need to be dropped off in the car rider line, and not be walked in by parents. We have staff members supervising arrival that will help your children exit the car and enter the building. Having families crossing the traffic line is a safety concern and slows down our arrival process. If parents need to visit the school office in the morning, they are asked to drop their children off in the line and then park to walk in. Contact the office with any questions. Thank you for your cooperation.

7th Grade Service Project
Sock Drive
7th Graders are collecting socks during the month of August for our service project! Last year we collected well over 500 pairs of brand new socks! The socks we collect will be donated to refugee camps, St. Vincent de Paul, elderly communities, and homeless shelters. As you can see, these socks are going to people in need. People that may be coming from different countries that don’t experience the weather here in Indianapolis. We want to give thanks to Mrs. Chamblee who is helping us get this service project off to a great start. Please send all socks to Sr. Nicolette’s homeroom. Thank you to everyone who will help us reach our goal.
BEGINNER VIOLIN LESSONS
Are you interested in your child learning musical skills? My name is Perpetua Morey, and I am currently a senior in high school, as well as a graduate of Holy Name. I have been playing violin for 7 years. I am a member of the American Prize-winning Indianapolis Youth Orchestra, and I have been teaching violin for one year. Becoming a musician enhanced my life and I truly believe it is a valuable skill for any child. My rate is $40 for 30 minute lessons, and I can come to you! Please contact me for more information at 21pmorey@gmail.com

Box Tops
Holy Name Catholic Church invites any 6th-8th grade students to join us at EDGE. We will have a kickoff on August 24th from 5:45 pm-7:00 pm. Please let our Youth Minister know you plan to attend by signing up using the accompanying registration link. This year, our main focus will be learning about God and his loving plan for humanity. Ever since the dawn of time, God knew you and called you by your very name. We will also learn how we get to participate and share his love with those in our lives. We hope to see you there!"
