ST. PATRICK SCHOOL STUDENTS RANK IN THE TOP 90% IN DIOCESE & STATE
Dear Grandparents & Special Friends,
I wanted to take this opportunity to share more good news about St. Patrick School with you, including our testing scores for 2023. To summarize, the academics at St. Patrick School continue to remain top-notch with our students scoring well above Diocesan and state averages in Reading and Math. You will see our assessment scores below and in comparison to the other schools in our Diocese as well as the New Jersey state average. Unfortunately, we do not have comparison data for the local school district as they have not released this information.
In the middle school, our students excelled in Math with an overall score of 96, compared to the 80 that NJ state has set for a goal and a 81 that other Diocesan schools scored. Likewise, our elementary school had over 95 ranking of both math and readling compared to the state’s 80 and the Diocesan average of 78. In addition, the lower grades of K/1 scored a 98 compared to 80 and 75 for the state and the Diocesan average respectively.
Likewise, our Reading assessment scores were equally impressive, with all grades - Kindergarten through grade 8 scoring in the very high 90's compared to the Diocesan average between 75-80 and the state average of 80. What a great accomplishment for our boys and girls!
St. Patrick School students continue to excel year-after-year compared to their peers. Likewise, we see our students’ excellence and academic prowess in their acceptances to the area’s top parochial and private high schools. For example, this year we have students who were accepted to Villa Walsh, Academy of St. Elizabeth, Seton Hall Prep, Oratory Prep, Mount St. Mary Academy, Morris Catholic High School, Delbarton School, Pingry, and Kent Place. And, that is just the schools that they are attending. Most were accepted to multiple schools and further, our 26 graduates garnered nearly $800,000 in scholarships!
In short, St. Patrick School students continue to be the best and brightest in Morris County, if not the State of New Jersey and the nation. We appreciate everyone's partnership to ensure our students continue to receive the best education possible.
Congratulations to our students!

As we express our gratitude to Jenny Durick for her outstanding leadership, we also extend our appreciation to every member of the Home and School Association who has contributed their time, talents, and resources throughout the year.
