We are here and ready to begin the 2nd semester!

Reminder:

Our school doors open at 8:30 a.m. every day.

It is beginning to get colder and students are out front waiting for school to begin and they are cold.

Please try to have your child here at 8:30 or between 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. so that they are not waiting outside when it is really cold.

Breakfast begins at 8:30 and we start preparing for lunch at 9:00 a.m.

The tardy bell rings at 9:00 a.m.

Community Partners have donated several coats and hats for our Patriot Stars who are in need!

If you need a coat or hat for your child, please contact Ms. Brathwaite, our school counselor.

We have the following sizes available:

4/5 (girls and boys)

7/8 (girls and boys)

10/12 (girls and boys)

a few 14/16 (girls only)

We are partnering with girls' scouts for the next few weeks! They will be joining us every Friday and working with students during their activity time.

We sent home a flyer in December so you all could sign up.

If you would like your child to join please sign them up ASAP.

Instead of going to Art, P.E., or Music on Fridays, they will have their Scout meeting!

Tinker Elementary has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon this year! Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more. Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday January 27, 2025. About one week before our Read-A-Thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress. We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/323331393132/1 and following the simple instructions. We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills. We hope EVERYONE participates.
