Spartan Profiles
Jamie Pearson-School Psychologist
Written by: Alexander Tran
As a school psychologist, Mrs. Pearson joined our Spartan family roughly just two years ago. Graduating from Savanna High School in Anaheim, Mrs. Pearson was active in the school’s cheerleading program and “pep” club. She would go on to attend Chapman University, where she majored in psychology and worked throughout college. Prior to joining our Spartan family, Mrs. Pearson worked at Ocean View Unified School District in Huntington Beach. When asked about her favorite aspect of working here at Villa Park High School, it would be interacting with both staff and students. Some fun facts about Mrs. Pearson is a mom of three; enjoys tap dancing; and loves shopping.
Judy Wassililew-School Certificated Kitchen Aid
Written by: Alexander Tran
As a school certified kitchen aid, Mrs. Wassiliew has worked in OUSD school kitchens for over 16 years, twelve of which were here at Villa Park High School. Considering her many years here within OUSD, Mrs. Wassiliew has ingrained herself within the community. Graduating from Orange High School in 1969, Mrs. Wassiliew participated in drama and played in school sports. Right after graduating from high school, Mrs. Wassiliew worked at Disneyland. Prior to joining our Spartan family in 2012, she previously worked at Albertson, which speaks to her organizational skills. When asked about her favorite experience here at Villa Park High School, it would be when her granddaughter attended Villa Park. One fun fact about Mrs. Wassiliew is that she really enjoys working with the students and staff here at Villa Park High School.
