Academic Progress

As you know, Term 2 ends next Friday, January 24. We'd like to recognize the dedication our staff has shown in educating our students and the commitment they've made to guiding them through the challenges and successes of this school year. As we look ahead to Term 3, let's continue to keep our focus on academic growth, personal responsibility, and leading with character.

Senior Exit Interviews

Many thanks to the parents who volunteered to facilitate and conduct the Senior Exit Interviews. Your participation provided our students with valuable feedback about their educational experience and helped prepare them for the next stage of their academic and/or professional journeys.

Schedules

We have a new Bell Schedule for planned PLC Late Start Days which was posted last week under "Calendars & Schedules." While we strive to avoid schedule changes, there are times when adjustments are necessary.

Parking Lot Safety

Please be aware that parking in the Bus Lot/East Commons Parking Lot in front of RFHS is prohibited for students and staff between 6:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on school days, and prohibited for parents/visitors from 6:45-7:45 a.m.and from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on school days. If you choose to park there during these times, your vehicle may be ticketed or towed at your expense. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring everyone's safety.

Our registration night for the 2025 River Falls Shooting Sports season will take place on Thursday, January 23rd at 6:00pm in the Meyer Middle School Auditorium.

This is an important event for all athletes and parents planning to participate in the upcoming season. There will be an informational meeting and presentation with the opportunity for questions and answers on anything related to our Shooting Sports program. We will be collecting registration forms and fees as well as handling tickets for our upcoming Chicken Fry and Gun Raffle team fundraisers. A representative from the River Falls Sportsman's Club will also be available to handle the required junior club memberships for athletes if you do not already have yours renewed.

Please feel free to print and fill the 2025 fee schedule and 3 registration forms: 2025 Registration Cover Form with 2025 fee schedule, Medical Consent Form, RFSC JR Membership Form, Sportsmanship Contract. These forms MUST be completed ahead of time and bring them with you to registration night to help save time. If you already have a 2025 membership to the River Falls Sportsman's Club, be sure to bring your membership card so we can verify. Also be sure to have your hunter education information. All athletes need to have hunter education completed prior to the start of our season in March. If anyone still needs hunter education, Pat Knorn is a local DNR Hunter Safety instructor who offers classes for students who need certification. She can be reached at 715-410-1160. Please contact her and she will provide details regarding her class requirements/schedule.
