El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for all children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. The overall goal of all Día programming is to link children and their families to diverse books, languages, and cultures.
Autism Acceptance Month
Autism Acceptance Month is an annual opportunity for a dedicated conversation and celebration of autism. It is a time for uplifting autistic voices and sharing in the community's joy.
Celebrating Earth Day!
The Davis High School Educational Foundations (EDF) class and ceramics class have been working on a joint project for Earth Day. EDF students have been propagating succulents in our Compassion Garden in recycled plastic containers and ceramic students have been making pots to put them into so they can be gifted to the community.
