The Prosper Independent School District Board of Trustees met for a special Board Meeting on Monday, Friday, May 10, 2024.
Board certifies May 4, 2024 election results
5B. The Board canvassed Election Returns to Declare Results of the May 4, 2024 Board of Trustee Election
The Board officially finds and determines that said election was duly ordered, proper notice of the election was duly given, proper election officers were duly appointed before the election, the election was duly held, the District has complied with applicable laws, including the Texas Election Code, due returns of the result of the election have been made and delivered, and the Board has duly canvassed said returns, all in accordance with law and the order calling the election.
Further, the Board officially finds and determines that the following votes were cast and tallied in the May 4 Board of Trustee elections for places 4 and 7:
For Place 4, Incumbent Bill Beavers received 2,022 votes and Lanford Rodgers received 845 votes. Mr. Beavers received at least a plurality of votes and was therefore re-elected to his third term on the Board.
For Place 7, Kristin Meier received 939 votes, David Webb received 1,699 votes, and Drew Wilborn received 266 votes. Mr. Webb received at least a plurality of votes and was elected to his first term on the Board.
Beavers and Webb will be sworn in at the regular May 20, 2024, Board of Trustees Meeting.

The Notice of Meeting/Agenda is posted 72 hours in advance of the Board meeting.
