I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our families for your incredible support during our recent Tiger Trot fundraiser and book fair! Your generosity and involvement made these events not only successful but truly memorable events for our school community.
Thanks to your efforts, the Tiger Trot fundraiser was a success! The PTO is able to pay for the buses for 1 field trip per grade or an in-person event for the grade. With the other events happening the Linden PTO is also able to provide a small Mini Grant for each grade!!

Crafty Creations CRAFT AND VENDOR FAIR
Come visit the Linden PTO at Linden S.T.E.A.M. Academy Saturday November 9th from 1-4PM to support our local crafters and vendors!
Santa will be arriving from the North Pole at 1PM and will be available for pictures until 2PM. Come snap your FREE photo with Santa!
We will also have FREE Gingerbread Cookie decorating for all the children! ((while supplies last))
This event is open to the public! We hope to see you there!

BOSTON VS. BULLIES ASSEMBLY
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 26TH
4:30 p.m. -5:30 p.m. in the Linden Auditorium
Parents and Caregivers are encouraged to attend this Assembly to learn more about the program including:
- Special emphasis on what parents can do to identify and prevent bullying situations
- Proactive approach and provides kids with strategies on how to deal with bullying before it happens
- Details of the program being discussed at Linden with students.
TEACHER CONFERENCES
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 26TH
5:30-7:00 p.m.
We are encouraging families, parents and caregivers to attend Teacher Conference Night. Check out the classroom, find out about current units and activies, exploratory classes and general school updates. Teachers will be sending out details for scheduling meet times or meet locations.
We look forward to seeing lots of families.

MAKE UP OR RETAKE PHOTOS
Photos will be taken of any student that was not present or enrolled at Linden on the first Portrait day. Photos will be take of Students that caregivers are requesting Retakes. They should have their first package.
Safety and Health Reminders
Cold and Flu Season
When is my child sick enough to stay home from school?”
This is not always an easy question to answer! We hope that these tips can help!
The following is a list of conditions and symptoms that indicate when you should keep your child home.
They include, but are not limited to:
- Fever greater than 100 F – Your child may return when their fever has been gone for over 24 hours without medication, and if no other symptoms are present.
- Vomiting/ Diarrhea – Your child may return when symptom free for greater than 24 hours without medication or other symptoms
- Rash- Your child may return with a physician’s note that it is not contagious.
- Strep infections of any kind, strep throat, ringworm, conjunctivitis, or impetigo – These are all contagious infections and must be treated with medication for at least 24 hours before returning to school
- Head Lice – Your child may return after treatment; and no live lice present. – must follow up with the school nurse upon returning to school.
- Bad cold, with a very runny nose or bad cough, especially if it has kept the child awake at night – your child may return when symptoms resolve.
- Pain should be taken seriously, especially in young children. Earaches, toothaches, sore throats and headaches should be evaluated
- COVID positive, please stay home while experiencing symptons. Student should wear mask for five days upon their return.
