The Every Kid Outdoors program, launched by the U.S. federal government, aims to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards by providing free access to national parks and other federal lands and waters. Targeted specifically at fourth graders, the initiative seeks to foster a lifelong appreciation for the natural world by removing financial barriers and encouraging outdoor learning and recreation. Each year, students can obtain a free pass that grants them and their families entry to over 2,000 federally managed sites across the country. This program not only promotes physical activity and environmental education but also ensures that children from diverse backgrounds have the opportunity to experience the beauty and wonder of America's natural landscapes.
