This is a short one! Only 4 and 1/2 days left. The once crazy busy and long list of events is getting shorter and shorter! I hope everyone enjoys the weekend!

Grades 4 and 5 Band and Chorus Performance

I wanted to remember how amazing the grades 4 and 5 band/chorus night was. Our students performed perfectly. I still recall when my two boys were just starting out playing instruments and how painful it sounded as they practiced. Strangely, things seem so much better now, 10 years later! A huge shoutout to both Mr. Kozik and Ms. Sommer for a job well done!

Fowler School Spanish Immersion End of Year Celebration

I want to express my gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event possible. The night was a wonderful celebration of our school's diverse cultures, complete with delicious food, fantastic presentations, and, most importantly, lots of smiles. Thank you to our families and staff for making this night a success!

Through the MEF Teacher & Staff Tribute Program you can recognize and honor teachers and staff members that have had a positive impact in your students' life.

To participate:
1. Go to www.maynardeducation.org
2. Select the teacher(s) or staff member(s) that you want to honor
3. Decide if you want to write a short message of appreciation
4. Make a tax-deductible donation (The amount of your donation will remain confidential to your honoree.)

We'll send a letter and a commemorative magnet to the teacher(s) and/or staff member(s) to proudly display in their classroom.

Your donation directly benefits teachers, students, and administrators by supporting MEF’s grant program which funds innovative initiatives and new learning opportunities in the Maynard Public Schools. Thanks to the generosity of families & community members, MEF awarded over $36,000 in grants to enrich the educational experience of our students during the 2022-2023 school year.

he Open Table Food Pantry (www.opentable.org; 33 Main St, Maynard) is open on Tuesdays, 3:30 - 6:30 PM and Thursdays, 1 - 4:30 PM and offers free bags of groceries 1x/week. Open Table also allows families to pick up frozen meals for family members weekly.
