Compass Updates
Compass Programs Electronic Device Policy
Please review this policy with your student. We have had an increase in personal technology use issues during the school day. The expectations were gone over with all students at the beginning of this trimester.
Personal Electronic devices and cell phones are not needed from 7:30 am - 2:45 pm
Devices should not be seen or heard
If a communication need arises, ask a staff member to use a phone
Violations of the policy may result in the device being turned into the office
Repeated violations will require a parent/guardian meeting
Compass Programs are committed to maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment
Child Nutrition Update
It is important to ensure all of our students basic needs or nurishment are met while at Compass. Student may receive one breakfast and one lunch at no cost during the school year or bring their own cold breakfast or lunch.
We have had an increase of disruption in classrooms due to students bringing in non nutritional items such as chips, candy and sugary beverages. We are asking everyone to stop bringing these items to school, so we can focus on learning.
