HFRCS Newsletter June 4, 2024
SY 2023-2024 - Vol.3 Issue 40
From the Principal's Office
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we head into the final stretch of the 2023-2024 school year, there are many exciting end-of-the-year events and activities! Please check this newsletter and the June calendar to keep track of the dates/times of all that is happening!
Tomorrow we will be having the closing ceremonies for our youngest learners in our PK and Kindergarten classrooms. This is such an exciting time for these students who have worked hard all year and are now moving forward, some here at Holy Family and others to new schools! Our teachers have done an outstanding job preparing these students for future learning! The PK3 ceremony will take place tomorrow at 9:15 AM in the Large Hall. Our PK4 ceremony will take place in the church at 9:45 AM. And our Kindergarten Graduation will take place at 4:00 PM in the church. Congratulations to all!
Friday will be our school’s Spirit Day! This year we are excited to have new games and stations being provided courtesy of our Home and School Association. Parent volunteers are ready to monitor each station, providing teachers with the opportunity to watch and follow their class as they compete in the various games. Parents are invited to come and watch their child during Spirit Day. Festivities begin around 9:15 AM. Please remember there is no hot lunch program beginning on Friday. Students may participate in the H&S Pizza lunch by completing an order form and sending in their $5. All orders are due TOMORROW, Wednesday, June 5. If not ordering the pizza lunch, please be sure to send in a bag lunch and water bottle for your child.
Monday will be the last day of school for our 8th grade graduates. After graduation practice in the afternoon, our graduates will take their Victory Lap around the school building while our remaining students cheer, congratulate and thank them for being our school leaders and role models this year. Our 8th grade students will have their Graduation Mass and Ceremony next Wednesday, June 12 at 4:00 PM.
As final exams are completed and teachers begin to log their remaining grades into FACTS, the family portal will be turned off today and will remain off until the close of day on June 13. Summer tutoring is available for all grade levels over the summer. Please see this newsletter for more information. There are also teachers available to assist students with the completion of their summer work packets.
Last week, our 6th grade students hosted The European Market. Everyone was impressed with their knowledge, enthusiasm, and creativity. Each of the countries represented had interesting activities and food to sell to interested students, faculty and parents. Overall, The European Market raised $1600 which will be donated to the Women’s Animal Center. Congratulations 6th grade!
Thank you for your support as we bring this school year to a close.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Mrs. Haggerty
We are a family of FAITH!
Remember to go to Mass this weekend.

Financial Aid for 2024-2025 School Year
Please see the attached letter for important information about Financial Aid. Even if your family received financial assistance in the past, a new application must be submitted each year.
Families who do not apply will not be eligible to receive aid.
Please note that the school has not been notified of our total financial aid funding for 2024-2025 school year. However, it is expected to be lower than what we received this school year with the large one-time gift. We should have more information at the end of this month or early next month. The Business Office will not finalize your account until your financial aid application has been reviewed so you may be placed on a August to May tuition schedule.
Student Referral Incentive Program
Our Student Referral Incentive Program awards a referring Holy Family Regional Catholic School family with a $200 tuition credit posted in December as a way of saying thank you for your trust and confidence in our school community. See the Student Referral Incentive Program for more information on eligibility requirements for the incentive payment.

2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR PLANNING
As the end of the school year is quickly approaching, I want to remind everyone that an official opt-out form is required if you are not returning in the fall. Our recent Bucks Happening win and positive word of mouth have provided an overwhelming amount of interest in all grades, especially middle school and early childhood. For classroom planning purposes and textbook ordering, we need to know the student enrollment count for the 2024-2025 school year.
OPT-OUT FORM: https://hfrcs.org/continuous-enrollment-opt-out
If you do submit the opt-out form you are relinquishing your seat and are not guaranteed re-admittance should you change your mind. If you have any questions or concerns before officially submitting the form please feel free to reach out to me directly either by phone or email. brittany.konen@hfrcs.org, 215-269-9600 ext. 209
