Please note that we have decided to postpone our Christmas Raffle and Fair that was scheduled for Saturday, December 7th from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at our school. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Term 1 Report Cards will go home via students on Friday, December 6. Family/Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, December 12 from 1:00 - 6:00 PM. We will use the online program, OPTIS, again this year for booking appointments to meet your child’s teacher(s). Here is the link to the OPTIS website and all the instructions you will need. OPTIS will open for bookings on Wednesday, December 4 at 10:00 AM and will close on Thursday, December 12 at 10:00 AM. Interview slots will be a 10 minute session. If you feel you need more time to meet with your child’s teacher, please reach out to the teacher and schedule an alternate time. Note that the students will be dismissed at 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 12 to accommodate the conferences.

On Friday, December 20th, the last day prior to the Christmas Holidays there will be an early dismissal for all students. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 PM. Our school buses will do their regular afternoon routes, leaving the school at 12:30 PM to bring students home. As well, due to the early dismissal time, there will not be a lunch break on this day, but we will have our regularly scheduled recess break.

We are getting very excited for our Festive Holiday Market and Craft Fair that is coming up on Thursday, December 12th from 12:00 - 5:30 PM in our school gym. Be sure to spread the word to family and friends. This event is open to the public. We have many vendors registered including;

We are looking forward to our school Christmas Concert that will be hosted by our awesome Grade 3 and 4 students as well as some of our band students. An email was was sent earlier this week to the parents/guardians of the students who will be performing at the concert.

We have accumulated a large number of items in our school lost and found since September. If your child has lost or misplaced something, please encourage them to come have a look to see if anything belongs to them. What is not claimed by the last day of school prior to the holidays, December 20, will be donated to a charity. Parents are also more than welcome to stop by the front lobby to have a look.
