Thanks to East Montana Middle School for Hosting Our Winter Wonderland Meeting
Last month, Clint ISD Partners in Education enjoyed our Winter Wonderland meeting at East Montana Middle School in the far east side of El Paso. Partners enjoyed a delicious, hot breakfast by our district chef; several fine arts student performances; student program demonstrations; and an informative presentation from the district and some of our partners. Horizon Community Celebrates First Annual Horizon High School Family Night
This month Horizon area schools (Horizon High School, Ricardo Estrada Middle School, Horizon Middle School, Frank Macias Elementary, Desert Hills Elementary & Carroll T. Welch Elementary) participated in our first annual family night themed: New Year! New You! We had over 200 families join us in learning about wellness techniques to make 2025 the best yet. Our community partners joined us in support alongside high school student programs and student performing artists! Several families received giveaway items provided from our community partners. Clint ISD Welcomes Albertsons to Horizon
Albertsons on Eastlake Boulevard held their Grand Opening ceremony and made an incredible $16,500 donation to Clint ISD schools located in the Horizon community! Our Horizon High School students were involved in the ceremony performing for the huge crowd! This new store is more than just a place to shop—it’s a partner in supporting our schools and strengthening our community. View our photo gallery here!
First Light Federal Credit Union Donates to Clint ISD Senior Scholarship Fund
First Light Federal Credit Union recently held its grand opening of a brand new location on Darrington Road, a location that will now serve the Horizon community. Clint ISD was honored to receive a kind donation of $2,000 for our Senior Scholarship Fund. Each year Clint ISD strives to give out 20 $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors. We are so appreciative of this donation from First Light Federal Credit Union!
New Date for Our Senior Scholarship Run
Due to construction on Horizon Boulevard, we've moved the Senior Scholarship 5K Run/1 Mile Walk to Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Horizon High School. All proceeds from this event go directly to our Senior Scholarship Fund.

Clint ISD Teacher Incentive Allotment Program Recognized by Region 19
Our district was honored by Region 19 for the success of the TEA Teacher Incentive Allotment program. Clint ISD has the most designated teachers in our region. House Bill 3 was passed by the 86th Texas Legislature in June of 2019 establishing an optional Teacher Incentive Allotment with a stated goal of a six-figure salary for masters teachers who prioritize teaching in high needs areas and rural district campuses and meet the program criteria.
