Weekly Update
January 24, 2025
From the Principal
Dear Aquin Families,
It was another cold week! Thank you for making sure the kids have good layers for the classrooms. The lower part of the building is cooler than the older part of the building by the office. We have had one small issue with sweatshirts - they all look similar! We love the Aquin sweatshirts, but the kids have a hard time remembering which ones are theirs. For this reason, we ask you to please put your last name on the tag. This will help us to get them back to the proper owner if they decide to take them off during the day.
On Sunday we will be doing a new student Open House. We would appreciate you inviting a friend or family that does not go to Aquin but may be interested. Your recommendations are our greatest compliment.
The registration information was sent this week. The good news is that other than financial aid paperwork, returning students do not need to do much to be registered for next year. If you have any questions, please contact us. The 2025-2026 calendar should be available soon. We are waiting on the date for the all Diocese teacher institute, and then we can get it out to families. The tentative start day for school is August 20th with the supply drop off on August 19th.
Don't forget to sign up for the PTO Bowling event on February 1st! Information below.
Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Heitkamp
