Tutoring Program
Starting next week we have an amazing new after school Tutoring Program designed to help kids finish the school year strong. The program will run Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in the media center from 3:00-4:00–activities buses will be available. Teachers will be recommending kids they think will benefit from tutoring; or any student who wants help in Math, Science, Social Studies or English can just come to the media center.

5/14: Graduation Fee Due: Link to Pay
5/14: Senior Survey Due: Link to Survey
5/27: Cap and Gown Pick Up – must have all fees paid, survey done and be academically eligible
5/29: Last day of Credit Recovery

3 Week Tutoring Blast!
Does your child need a little extra academic support before the end of the trimester?
Starting next week we have an amazing new after-school Tutoring Program designed to help students finish the school year strong. The program will start next week and run Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in the media center from 3:00-4:00. Activities buses will be available. Teachers will be recommending kids they think will benefit from tutoring, or any student who wants help in Math, Science, Social Studies or English can just come to the media center. Of course, if students needs help during the day in other classes, WIN time on Tuesdays and Thursdays is a great time to get that support.
Spring Reminders
As the weather warms up and we get closer to the end of the year, listed below are a few reminders being shared with students this week. We have lots of exciting and fun end of the year things coming up–like Prom and Graduation. Any behavior or attendance issues can jeopardize a students' ability to participate in these things. So, please read and remember these North High POLAR PRIDE expectations to help us all have a great end of the school year!
DRESS CODE REMINDERS
Clothing needs to be appropriate for the activity.
No clothing with gang affiliations, drugs, weapons, inappropriate language or alcohol.
Undergarments should not be visible.
Students can not leave the building without permission, not even for lunch
- Students are not allowed to re-enter the building
- Any student attempting to re-entering after leaving may be searched and have consequences
- Only pre-approved 12th Graders have open lunch
Students arriving late need to come through main doors and check in at the Welcome Window
Never open any door from the inside to let anyone in–even for students arriving late
Students leaving for approved appointments need to check in and out at the Welcome Window
If Riding a Bike to School–LOCK IT UP! North is not responsible for lost of stolen property
If Riding a Skateboard–they need to be put in lockers, not carried around
Finish the year strong by being in your classes and being on time!
Mental Health Awareness
Did you know that Mental Health Awareness Month has been observed in May in the United States since 1949? The 2025 theme is Turn Awareness into Action with the goal of celebrating “the progress we’ve made in recognizing the importance of mental health—and challenging us to turn understanding into meaningful steps toward change.

Anonymous Tip Line
Students and families can access the Tip Line through the district website OR through our District 622 mobile app. To download the app, search for School District 622 in your app store. There is a green Tip Line icon. Click on it and choose the category for which you would like to report a tip. Tips can be anonymous, but the more information you share with us, the more it helps us respond and resolve the potential issue.
