Announcements
End-of-Year Medication Pick Up
It's incredible how quickly the school year is coming to a close! As we prepare for its end, it's important to start planning for the retrieval of medications from the health office. Unfortunately, we're unable to store medications over the summer for the following school year's use. Please refer to the email correspondence for details on scheduling medication pick-up. Only families who have supplied medication for school use will receive an email. It's been a pleasure caring for and supporting the health needs of our scholars this year. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to Karla Smith, School Nurse, at (608) 690-5112.
New Uniform Ordering Process & Vendors
All families received an email this week but as a general reminder, TLA has a uniform policy to promote unity, develop a sense of community and school spirit, decrease potential peer pressure, and keep clothing costs affordable.
New this year! Vendor-specific embroidered logo cardigans for scholars will be available and uniform compliant!! Please note that if wearing a cardigan, a TLA uniform polo must be worn underneath. Please click here to view the 2024-2025 Uniform Dress Code.
Pants, Shorts, and Skorts: Must be purchased from French Toast. Your purchases from French Toast will be mailed directly to you. Note: Uniform pants (only pants) may be purchased from another source if needed; however, they must look like the uniform pants provided by French Toast (same style and material). Walmart carries a brand called Wonder Nation that is acceptable.
Physical Education (required for 6th - 12th Grade): Must be purchased from Walnut Creek. You may purchase online or in person at Walnut Creek, 408 East Grand Avenue, Beloit. Purchases made from Walnut Creek may be mailed directly to you or picked up in the store.
Polos, Sweatshirts, and Cardigans: Must be purchased online from HALO. Orders placed from May 1, 2024, through July 28, 2024, will be delivered to the school in August, and you will be contacted when your order is ready to be picked up at the school. The HALO store is now open and will CLOSE on July 28, 2024. Please ensure you have ordered your uniform tops for the 2024-2025 school year by July 28, 2024, as the school will no longer be accepting uniform top orders.
As a reminder, different colored TLA uniform tops represent specific grade levels of scholars. You may need to purchase different colored uniform tops for your scholar for the 2024-2025 school year.
K4 through 5th Grade wear Royal Blue
6th through 8th Grade wear Gray
9th through 12th Grade wear Black
We strongly encourage you to order your uniform tops early before the July 28, 2024, HALO ordering deadline. We anticipate this new ordering process will be a much more efficient experience in the distribution of uniforms.
If you have any questions about uniform ordering, please feel free to contact our Special Projects Manager, Jean Marie McKearn at jeanmarie.mckearn@tlabeloit.com.

Message From the Deans
Mr. Anderson
Mr. Cieplewski
Dear TLA Families,
As we dive into the month of May, blossoms aren't the only things in full bloom; our appreciation for creativity and hard work is also flourishing. This Staff Appreciation Week, let's take a moment to express our gratitude to the amazing individuals who make our school community thrive. Whether it's a heartfelt thank-you note, a small token of appreciation, or simply a kind word, your gestures mean the world to our hardworking staff members.
On another note, please think of creative ways to help your scholar remember their belts. We are noticing an increase of scholars forgetting them. Thank you for your support!!
Sincerely,
Mr. Ryan Anderson, 4K-4th Grade Dean of Scholars
Mr. Robert Cieplewski, 6th-11th Grade Dean of Scholars
