8:00 AM LWE Band Room Opens

8:30 AM You need to be at LWE by this time. Load Truck.

Wear “Summer Uniform:”

Parade Shirt Black Pants w/Black Belt (Silver buckle) Long Black socks, Black Marching Shoes Color Guard Color Guard Parade Uniform

8:45 AM Depart from LWE 9:00 AM Unload truck/warm-up in Mokena’s “Main Park.”

All students MUST ride the bus from LWE.

No “Travel Release(s)” will be allowed.

10:00 AM Parade steps off from Main Park and runs north on Wolf Road.

11:30 AM Approximate time we will finish the parade

11:45 AM Load buses

12:00 PM Approximate arrival at LWE / Dismissed

The LWMB uniform is always to be worn in its entirety when in public! Remember that you are representing the LWMB, L-W District #210, and all of the L-W Marching Band students who earned that respect and reputation before you.

DROP-OFF & PARKING INFORMATION Students should be dropped off at the LWE Auditorium entrance. Students who drive to LWE should park in the East lot by the LWE stadium.

From 8:00-8:30am on Tuesday, July 4, parent volunteers will be collecting SIAM payments outside the LWE Band Room. EVERY band member should turn in any SIAM funds that have been collected so far. You should not wait until the end of the sale to turn in your payments.

Parent volunteers maintain a spreadsheet to track in person sales which will be added to any sales attributed to band members in the Raise 365 app.

When turning in your SIAM money on Tuesday, please follow the guidelines below:

*Parents - please review the amount of cash your child is turning in to make sure it is a multiple of $25.

*Organize the bills so the same denominations are together - this will help us count faster and allow the kids to get ready for the parade.

*Put all cash or ONE check from an LWMB parent in an envelope.

*Label the envelope with the LWMB member's name and the amount of SIAM payment that is inside the envelope.

*We will also be giving a receipt at each SIAM checkpoint, so you have a record of what has been turned in.

Need Help with Door to Door Sales?

A parent volunteer created this wonderful sheet to use while selling door to door in case people are not home when you stop by. If desired, feel free to write your name and phone number on it in the space provided, so neighbors can contact you directly for a SIAM card. We will have copies of this flier available at the check point on Tuesday or you can print on your own. File is immediately below this sentence.

Please take a moment to log on to Charms and check your balance in the Finances section. Please make sure your account is current and remember that you can use IFA funds that have been raised through your school's music boosters to help pay for LWMB fees.

You can also check Charms to see what forms have been submitted for your child including physicals. Click the Forms Collected button to see what still needs to be turned in for your child. Thanks!
