We are excited to host our annual Open House this Wednesday, September 11th at 6:00 p.m. Don't miss out on this beginning of the year opportunity to meet your child's teachers and learn about the courses they will taking this school year. We look forward to seeing all of our parents in attendance.

Just a reminder that this Wednesday, September 11th will be an early dismissal at 12:15 p.m. for students for teacher professional development. There will be no Warhawk Block on early dismissal Wednesday's, instead students will follow the 2-4-6 early dismissal schedule.

The add/drop period at BHS has concluded and all students schedules are now finalized. Progress Reports for Quarter 1 will be available September 27th. Progress Reports and Report Cards will be available on your PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you haven't already, please make sure to download the app to make sure you can access those reports. BHS will be having its annual Open House on Wednesday, September 11th at 6:00 p.m. This will be an in person event and a great opportunity for you to meet your child's teachers. We look forward to having all of our parents attend.

The evening will begin with a presentation by BHS Administration, then parents will transition to the halls and go through their child's daily schedule, getting an opportunity to meet all of their child's teachers and learn their expectations for this school year.

Girls Soccer:

• On Tuesday, September 3rd, BHS' Varsity Girls Soccer Team fell to Manchester, 0-9.
• On Friday, September 6th, BHS' Varsity Girls Soccer Team fell to Windsor, 0-3.

Boys Soccer:

• On Tuesday, September 3rd, BHS' Varsity Boys Soccer Team fell to Manchester, 1-6.
• On Friday, September 6th, BHS' Varsity Boys Soccer Team fell to New Britain, 0-4.

Boys Cross Country:

• On Friday, August 30th, BHS' Varsity Boys Cross Country Team had a Time Trial vs Hillhouse High School. The one mile race was won by Junior Shaun Lazenby and Sophomore Nehemiah Raphael-Adams placed third.

Unified Sports:

• Unified Sports is looking for volunteers. Students partner up with athletes with developmental disabilities to help them learn various sports. No prior knowledge of the sport is required. You can participate in one season or all year, even if you participate in other athletics. Commitment is only 4-5 games per season. Please see Ms. Angiletta if you are interested in participating.
