Mrs. Vold's Preschool and Mrs. Schumacher's Kindergarten Classes Joins Hearts Across America
The Pre-K and Kindergarten classes are spreading love and learning through their participation in the hearts Across America Project! This exciting initiative aims to collect Valentine's mail from all 50 states.
In return for the thoughtful mail they receive, they will send a greeting back to their new friends across the U.S. Each piece of mail will also be marked on a map, helping students visually track where their Valentines greeting come from and fostering curiosity about other states.
Both classes are eager to see how many states they can connect with. If you know someone from out of state, please share this opportunity to make a student's day extra special!
Valentine's cards, letters or postcards can be sent now through February 11th to ensure they arrive before or on Valentine's Day. Please address to

Donation
Drayton School’s stage is getting closer to a much-needed facelift, thanks to the dedication of Mrs. Schumacher and the generosity of the Aggie Foundation. Recently, Mrs. Schumacher secured a $5,000 donation from the foundation to help cover the cost of replacing the school’s aging stage curtains.
The existing curtains, which have been in use for more than 40 years, show significant signs of wear and tear, with multiple rips and noticeable deterioration. Recognizing the need for a replacement to ensure the stage remains functional and presentable for performances, assemblies, and events, Mrs. Schumacher took action.
She submitted a request to the Bombers PTO, who immediately jumped in to support the project. Together, they worked to identify potential donors, culminating in this generous donation from the Aggie Foundation.
The total cost of the new curtains is estimated at $20,000. This donation is a significant step forward in preserving and enhancing Drayton School’s facilities for both students and the community.
Stay tuned for updates on this project. Thank you to Mrs. Schumacher, the Bombers PTO, and the Aggie Foundation for their hard work and generosity!
