Report Card Timing
Report Card Reminder
On January 23rd you can view and print your student's report card directly from the Parent Portal. Teachers are currently busy completing the process of grading. As you can imagine, tests, homework, and projects all need to be reviewed and graded before the process is complete. This being the case, between now and January 23rd, grades are subject to change while this process is being finalized.

Lost & Found
- Our collection of Lost and Found items is steadily growing.
- Items will be placed on tables for parent viewing during conferences or parents may sign into the kiosk and view items during school hours.
- Lost items with names will be returned to students.
- Items will be donated after conferences.

Community Education
Save the Date! The Community Garage Sale will be held Saturday, April 26, 9 am-noon at Rice Lake Elementary. Looking to declutter and sell items you no longer need? Purchase a table: $20/adult table, $10/child table. The event is free for shoppers. Proceeds of the table fees benefit the Community Education Financial Assistance Program.

In ongoing efforts to gather feedback from stakeholders, the School Board hosts Listening Sessions quarterly. The sessions provide the opportunity for community members, staff, parents, and students to meet informally with board representatives and the superintendent to discuss topics in the schools. The next Listening Session be held on February 10, 5:30 pm-6:15 pm in the District Office Board Room. More information can be found here.

- Substitute Teachers (To qualify, you must have bachelor’s degree with MN Teaching or Substitute License; you can obtain a Short Call License if you have a bachelor’s degree.)
- Substitute Paraprofessionals (To qualify, you must have a HS Diploma/GED.)
Substitutes are also needed for Kids Club, food service, custodial, administrative assistants, and nurses. More information can be found on the Centennial website.
FREE Cougar Cubs Playschool
Parents/Guardians of children ages 3-5, we invite you to enroll your child in Centennial High School’s FREE Cougar Cubs Playschool this spring! Your child will be engaged in a variety of learning activities such as art, music, science, math, literacy, sensory, and language development. These activities will be planned and implemented entirely by Centennial High School Child Psychology II students, under the supervision of their teacher. A light snack will also be provided each day. Maximum of 25 children and the program is filled on a first come, first serve basis. Registration deadline is February 21.
March 18-May 22, 2025
10:05am-11:05am: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (sign up for one, two, or all three days/week!)
Note: There will be no Playschool on March 5, April 4 and April 18.
