What's for Lunch this week?
❄️Winter Weather Reminders❄️
Remember to send your child with a warm coat, hat, and gloves on the colder days. We make every effort to get the kids outside! Our practice is to limit outdoor play when the RealFeel or actual temperature is 15-32 degrees. If either temp is under 15 degrees, students will stay inside. Please also make sure your child’s extra clothes kept in their backpack or cubby are weather appropriate.
PTO Information
PTO Classroom Representatives Needed:
The LECE PTO is looking for 1 or 2 parents who would be the PTO Classroom Representative, who would help organize classroom parties or activities and be the point person for their student's classroom to share any information coming from the PTO. This would not require attendance at PTO meetings, but would be a direct partnership with the classroom teacher and the PTO board. Communication would primarily be through email.
If you are interested, please email LindberghECEPTO@gmail.com by Wednesday, December 4.
Staff Favorite Things List
We've created a "Staff Favorites" list to help guide families who may be interested in purchasing a gift for their child's teacher or staff in the building. This list includes some of our staffs' favorite things. Please note that it is entirely optional to use. It’s just a fun way to offer some ideas if you're looking for inspiration.
Staff Shoutout Form
ECE is fortunate to have an incredible staff. To express our gratitude, we're creating a space for you to give personal shoutouts to the staff in the building that you want to recognize.
How it works:
- Fill out the provided form.
- We'll add your message to our weekly staff Smore and post it outside of their classroom.
Let's celebrate and uplift our staff!
Scholastic Book Fair Coming Soon!
Mark your calendars! Scholastic Book Fairs are coming to LECE. The book fairs will be December 2-6 at the ECE Center and December 9-14 at ECE West. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the volunteer form!

Lindbergh Lights the Way Annual Giving Tree Program
The Giving Tree program brings joy to children and families in need by providing toys, gifts, and essentials during the holiday season. Each year, with the support of our generous community, we brighten the lives of 60-65 families. By partnering with us, you can make a direct and meaningful impact—turning wishes into reality and creating cherished memories for those who need it most.
Give the Gift of Warmth to Lindbergh Families
This holiday season, your donation to Lindbergh Lights Up The Holidays will help families in need keep their homes warm and safe. We assist with essential utility bills—like electric, gas, and water—for families facing critical hardships. While our drive happens during the holidays, your support provides relief all year long. To make a donation, click here!
Thank-A-Teacher Poinsettia Sale
Leave the holiday shopping for that special Lindbergh staff member to the Lindbergh Schools Foundation! For a donation of $15 or more, the Foundation will send a beautiful poinsettia and a personalized card. Elevate your gift by adding a touch of personalization with a choice of gift cards from Baileys' Restaurants, California Pizza Kitchen, Crumbl Cookies, or Top Golf! Let the Foundation ease some of your holiday stress! All proceeds directly support our Innovation Grant Program, bringing inventive ideas and items to Lindbergh classrooms.
