HHS Hosts Annual Safe Driving Seminar
On Wednesday, October 4th, 2023 Herricks High School ran our annual Safe Driving Seminar for Driver Education students and parents. The meeting was led by a retired Nassau County Police Officer, a parent who has lost a child in a car accident and also a representative from the Bellmore-Merrick Community Center.
Herricks was also fortunate to have a student guest speaker (Risha Kaur - grade 10) voluntarily speak to our driver education students and parents regarding the concept of Organ Donations and how important checking off the box on the rear of your driver license truly is. Please stay tuned for our next seminar coming in the Spring of 2024.
