MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Greetings Davenport Families!

With less than three full weeks remaining in the school year, we're excited to share that we have many fun activities in store! All grade-level field trips are complete, with just two more left for our DHC Choir and Miller orientation. We're preparing and looking forward to our Fun Day and the much-anticipated Lip Sync Show.

June 6th- Lip Sync Show

June 7th- Fun Day for students only

June 10th-14th - Student Appreciation Week. Please refer to the calendar for theme days.

June 11th- Miller Orientation 3rd grade only. Permission slips will be sent home.

CLIMATE & CULTURE

Inspiring Future Musicians

Our 2nd and 3rd grade students were treated to an introduction of the percussion family of instruments by Mr. Spatz and the Fernwood Middle School Drumline on Tuesday. They showed our students their instruments and demonstrated how they all make different sounds. It was great to see so many of our former Davenport students (seen in the photo directly below) performing on stage!
