Foothill Community,

With Spring quickly approaching and our school buzzing with excitement, I wanted to highlight many incredible events that we have held recently, including our PE dance assembly, a fantastic Honors Orchestra performance, our 6th Grade Ocean Ambassadors Marine Mammal Center Boat Trip and—most exciting of all—our first-ever musical collaboration between the choir and drama department. This is a season of creativity, hard work, and celebration, and I couldn’t be prouder of our students and staff for their dedication.

I encourage you all to come out, support our talented performers, and be part of the energy that makes our school such a special place. Monday, March 24th- PFA meeting 7pm; District middle school choir fest Concord High 6:30

Wednesday, March 26th- Band Area Festival at Northgate 7 pm

Thursday, March 27th- String Area Festival at Northgate 7 pm

Monday, March 31st- No School

Students will need to bring their Chromebooks - to school for daily use. We will NOT have extras in the classroom for students to use so it is IMPERATIVE they remember to charge and bring each day.

It is recommended that families purchase insurance for their student's Chromebooks. The cost is $22.95 https://securranty.com/mdusd here is a link to purchase insurance.

Foothill Middle School appreciates the support families provide through donations for our classes. All Donations are collected through the Foothill MS Webstore, found at that link or on our homepage.

• Donations provide materials, which include licensing, software programs, and supplies; this is especially true of elective classes.
• All the materials (whether tangible or not) are designed to aid students in learning and developing their skills.
• These are ONLY for Foothill MS students. Donations do not feed into the District funds.
• All donations are tax deductible (tax ID#68-0091157). Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
