Sixth Grade Students Working on Metric Measurements!
This week RULH sixth graders completed a unit on metric measurements. They used a ruler and a meter stick to complete their measurements. Metric measurements are a very different concept for sixth grade students, and most science labs utilize the metric system. The students practiced what they learned as they were given different objects to measure, and then they had to measure how tall they are in centimeters and meters. Way to go sixth graders!

Students were given applications to fill out that day, (if they were interested in attending college at Shawnee State). Kudos to the Advisory Team for creating this and many other opportunities to help students plan for the future!
