Lincoln Middle School | Weekend Update
Lincoln Weekend Update, May 11, 2024
Lincoln Community,
We hope this message finds you all well! We’d like to take a moment to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) for their unwavering support during Staff Appreciation Week. Your generosity and thoughtfulness have genuinely made a difference in uplifting the spirits of our dedicated staff members. Their commitment to our students shines brighter each day, and your kindness amplifies their efforts in creating a nurturing learning environment.
As we cheer on our athletes, we extend our best wishes to our Track and Field team as they participate in Sectionals. This event marks the last step before the State Qualifiers, and we have every confidence that our talented athletes will showcase their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship on the track and on the field. Let's rally behind them with enthusiasm and support as they strive for success.
A friendly reminder that Friday, May 17, will be an early dismissal day for students. Please mark your calendars accordingly to ensure a smooth transition for your child's schedule.
Lastly, we wish all Lincoln mothers a happy Mother's Day! We hope you have a wonderful day with your children on Sunday.
In Partnership,
Eric Larson, Laena DiVito, Jason Jonas

American Legion Post 525 is Looking for Families of Activity Duty Service Men and Women
Mount Prospect American Legion Post 525 would like to give Blue Star Banners to the immediate family members (son, daughter, father, mother, sister or brother, spouse) of those currently serving in the military. Blue Star banners date back to World War I, and were hung in the windows of family members, to let everyone know they had a loved one in the service. The American Legion Family has brought this practice back in recent years. We are having a ceremony and complimentary lunch Sunday, July 14 , 2024 at the Moose Lodge #660 (our American Legion Post 525 home), 602 N. Main St., Mt. Prospect, IL, and would like to include you and your family. Please contact us with the name, branch of service, and rank of your immediate family member currently serving in the military. Deadline to register is July 1. To register please contact Marcie Kane at mfkane6@gmail.com.
