National English Honors Society (NEHS) Book Drive
Hey Central York Panthers! A book drive is a great way to spread the joy of reading with your local community! NEHS will be running a book drive during the month of March here at the high school. If you wish to donate, please place school-appropriate books in bins located around the school. Drop-off bins for book collection are located in front of the HUB, cafeteria, and in front of both Mrs. Detwiler and Ms. Goodrich’s classrooms (528 and 529). The books will be given to local children’s hospitals, underfunded schools, and other places in our local community to ensure that everyone can experience the joy of reading! Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated!
The Central York Education Association’s Battle of the Buildings returns!

These teams will battle it out on Friday, March 21, 2025. Doors open at 6:30 PM. The event begins at 7 PM. Come and cheer on your teachers!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game!
Any student that took a business class is invited to the Harrisburg Senators Business of Baseball Symposium on Wednesday, May 7th. There, students learn about the various departments that all come together to successfully run a baseball game. After the Senator’s staff presentation, we’ll watch a 12-noon baseball game! We’ll be returning to the high school around 2:15pm for students that play sports. Cost is $8 per ticket. Please see Mr. Hakim in room 421 for a permission card and any questions you may have.
Tech Office News
The tech office staff would like all students to check your computers for the WiFi access Admin Credentials Required issue. Many students are still encountering this problem when they try to use a new WiFi network. It’s an easy fix for us, but you will not be able to fix it without access to WiFi. We don’t want you to go out of town and find that you are unable to use the internet with your school computer.
To test this, please try to connect to a network you have never used, If you see a message requesting admin credentials similar to the message below, please stop by the tech office and we will fix it.
Thank you!
Mrs. Bieber and Mr. Savard
