📸 Picture retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, November 12th.

On Wednesday, November 13th, and Friday, November 15th, during health class, our school nurse, Baileigh Poulin, will be discussing puberty education with the 5th grade girls. Mr. Ross, our PE teacher, will be discussing puberty education with the 5th grade boys. Discussions will focus on the physical and emotional changes they will experience during puberty, understanding the importance of personal hygiene, physiology, and correct terminology of the reproductive system. The girls’ discussion will include a focus on understanding the menstrual cycle. If you prefer to not have your child participate in these discussions, please let their teacher know as soon as possible.

BABY PICTURES! 👶🍼

We continue to collect baby/toddler photos of each eighth grader. These photos will be used for the yearbook as well as the end of the year slideshow. Please either have your student bring in a photo that will be returned or email to darmour@rsu18.org or tstrout@rsu18.org

Fall is a beautiful time to explore the five communities of RSU 18! This template provides ideas of both easy and moderate hikes/walks in each of our school district's towns, plus some other wonderful outdoor adventure spots in our great state of Maine. Staff and students who complete 5 hikes will receive a sticker with the "Take a hike" logo.

Forms must be turned into the CMS Office by November 15.
