Dear Parents/Guardians,

With the warmer weather, we have noticed students arriving at school earlier than we can provide supervision. To ensure the safety of all students, please follow these important guidelines:

Important Guidelines:

• Students should NOT arrive at school before 7:40 AM.

• Parents/guardians should ensure students leave home to arrive at school after 7:40 AM.

• Students are not authorized to be on school grounds before 7:40 AM.

Safety First

Our priority is to ensure that all students are safely supervised while on school grounds. Your cooperation in following these guidelines is greatly appreciated as we work together to keep our students safe.

Please remember that the deadline for volunteers to register in order to volunteer for the spring 2025 semester is Wednesday, April 30. The volunteer registration system is shut down in the month of May and does not open until June 1. This is especially important if you have a field trip coming up.

March CharacterStrong Trait: Cooperation

This month the character trait we are learning all about is Cooperation. One way to think about Cooperation is “working together to reach shared goals.” As a family, talk about how this definition applies to how you work together at home. What are some goals you share?

At Ivy, teachers and staff spend hours thoughtfully creating balanced classrooms. This balance is critical to the optimum learning environment for all students. We do not accept requests for specific teachers. Also, once class lists are printed and announced, they are final. Thank you for your understanding.

We are attaching a form that you can fill out and share with Ms. Anne Marie, our principal. We will use that information to help create our student rosters and teacher placements.

Dear Families:

Thompson School District's Annual Family Check-In link for the 2025-2026 school year is now available on your Parent Portal.

This yearly update is required for every student enrolled in Thompson School District for the 2025-2026 school year. Parents/guardians in the student’s primary household need to complete the application by reviewing and updating household, emergency contact, student health information and permissions via the link. This information is used in the day-to-day operations of your child's school and it is imperative that it's accurate. Schools and district staff also use it to communicate important announcements and to reach out to you in cases of emergency.
