Our 34-week ROP Medical Assistant program is now accepting applications! This comprehensive program equips students with essential manipulative skills, technical knowledge, and hands-on experience for entry-level employment as an Administrative Medical Assistant and a Clinical Medical Assistant. Throughout the program, students will participate in non-paid clinical training through our “Community Classroom,” working alongside professionals in both front office and back office settings. This real-world experience is invaluable for developing the competencies needed to thrive in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare agency.
Upon successful completion, students are eligible to sit for the California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants exam in both Administration and Clinical areas. Financial aid is available for this course.

Earn While you Learn - Introducing our new Dental Assistant Apprenticeship Program
Are you interested in the dentistry field and passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? If so, a career as a Dental Assistant could be perfect for you. Our Butte County CTE Dental Assistant Apprenticeship Program offers comprehensive training at NO COST to the Apprentice, allowing you to earn while you learn. This program includes 160 hours of in-class technical instruction and 2000 hours of on-the-job training, with credit given for prior experience and demonstrated skills. Upon completion, you will be prepared to sit for the CA state board exam to become a Registered Dental Assistant.
The program, which can be completed in less than a year, combines paid industry employment with guaranteed wage increases as you develop new skills. Gain valuable workplace-relevant skills through mentorship and classroom instruction taught by industry-certified professionals. Don’t miss this opportunity to start your career in dentistry!
