Due to current ground conditions, field day will be postponed again to Wednesday, 5/28.

In the event of poor weather on Wednesday, May 28, we will try to hold field day on Wednesday, June 4th. We will communicate any further changes.

Each year Vernfield hosts a movie viewing in the gymnasium to reward students for their hard work throughout the year. This years movie day will be on Thursday, June 5th.

The movie times are:

-9:00am - 10:30am - K, 1, 2

-1:30pm - 3:00pm - 3, 4, 5

All students were provided with a 1-to-1 device at the beginning of the school year. To keep student devices in good condition, it is necessary to perform annual updates and maintenance. Accordingly, each school conducts student device collection at the end of the school year.

Vernfield Elementary will be collecting all student devices on Thursday, May 29. It is important to make sure that the following items are returned:

-Device (iPad for grades K to 4 and laptop for grade 5)

-Device case

-Charging cord

-Charging “block”

Please see the important information below regarding replacement costs. For your convenience, in addition to the hard copy, this letter has also been emailed to all Vernfield families containing live links.

-Devices and/or accessories provided by the school district, either not returned or returned damaged, are subject to a replacement cost per the terms of the Student/Parent Agreement for Mobile Device Use.

-Replacement costs can be found on the Student Device Replacement Cost Reference Sheet

-Payment for lost or damaged devices can be made via cash or check (payable to Souderton Area School District) at the school, or online using this link

Vernfield will not be publishing a paper calendar for the month of June.

Souderton Summer Camp will be running from June 16th - August 15th, 2025, and is now open for registration. More information can be found in the accompanying flyer.

The SASD Summer Camp offers children a chance to engage in recreational activities and have fun in a structured environment. Our programs include Art, Gym, Science, Swimming, and field trips, as well as events, special guest, sports, and games.
