Taft Updates!!
Thank you to all who were able to attend conferences during the month of October. We are hopeful that you were able to share and receive information about your child that will ensure we are setting high goals and working with you to ensure success at school!
The number one way to ensure student success is to be sure they are at school and on time each day. Please continue to monitor students for illnesses that they should be kept home for (including fever, vomiting, diarrhea) and send them to school when they are feeling well enough to be learning.
On November 6th, you may notice safety personnel outside at both drop off and pick up watching how our processes work during those times. Please know that they are helping to make sure that student safety is our number one priority and that we have safe systems in place. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Russell, the school principal.
If you use the parking lot at St. Gabriel's during either drop off or pick up, please be aware that the lot is also used for their recess time and that students may be playing on the blacktop. This is especially important when we have early release. Thank you for keeping their playground safe.

Math Resource
We are excited to share a free online resource from The Math Learning Center that can help promote math learning at home. Math at Home is a website that offers a variety of games and activities designed for students in grades Pre-K through fifth, aligning with what we are learning in the classroom. Best of all, it does not require any registration or login, making it easy for your child to access and enjoy.
We encourage you to explore this resource with your child to reinforce their math skills and make learning fun.
You can click on this link to visit the Math at Home website.
Thank you again for your partnership in your child's education.
Chromebooks / Tablets Coming Home
On Wednesday, Nov. 6, all Taft students will be bringing home their digital devices (Chromebooks/ Tablets) to prepare for any digital learning days that may occur. We want to be sure that all students and families are prepared for the possibility of a digital learning day. Please be sure to return devices to school with your child on Thursday, Nov. 7, as they will need them for classroom instruction.
We kindly request your support in ensuring your child has access to a reliable internet connection and the necessary devices for this day. If you do not have access to home internet, hotspots are available for checkout through NJSD.
Any questions about device or account set up can be emailed to the following address: njsdtech@neenah.k12.wi.us
