Join us for our second BPAC meeting of the year on Wednesday, December 18 from 7 – 8 PM at the Crouse Education Center located at 780 Shoreline Drive, Aurora. Food will be served at 6:30 PM and childcare will be available from 7 – 8 PM.
The meeting will focus on all needed information regarding our upcoming mandated ACCESS 2.0 testing for our English Language Learners and administered between January and February. This meeting applies to parents of K-12 students only.

WVHS Planetarium Holiday Family Night December 13, 2024
The WVHS Planetarium and WVHS Early Childhood Teaching Lab are hosting a Holiday Family Night on Friday December 13, 2024. Purchase tickets online at store.ipsd.org for “George & Oatmeal Save Santa” at 5:30, 6:00, 6:30, or 7:00 PM. This short planetarium show will have audiences following a snowman named Oatmeal and a planetarium wizard named George around the world looking at the stars. Santa is lost because he left his star map at home! The target audience is preschool and elementary school. In addition to the planetarium show, holiday crafts to make and take will be available from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the WVHS preschool. Join us for a night of holiday fun!
Mobile Dental Clinic
The DuPage County Health Department's Smile Squad will be visiting our district throughout the school year. Several schools will serve as host locations, and students from any school in the district are welcome to attend a clinic at any of these sites. The Smile Squad will provide dental examinations that fulfill the state-mandated requirement for students in Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th, and 9th grades. Eligible students will also receive a dental cleaning, fluoride treatment, and sealants as needed.

Please note that written parental consent is required and must be on file with the health office prior to your child’s appointment. Consent forms must be submitted to your child's health office at least one week before the scheduled clinic date.

Explore 204: Duck Foot Prosthetic
Watch how a group of innovative students, in Mr. Drmolka's STEM Plus class at Granger Middle School, takes on the challenge of creating a prosthetic foot for a duck named "Charlie", combining creativity and compassion to help it walk again. Watch the video here.

Next Board of Education Meeting: December 16, 2024
The next regular Board of Education meeting is at 7 PM on Monday, December 16, 2024 at the Crouse Education Center, 780 Shoreline Drive, Aurora. Meeting agendas and documents will be available online prior to the meeting. Video of the regular meeting can be streamed live or viewed the following day at the District’s YouTube channel.
