Week 7 Term 1, Friday 15 March
Principal's Comment
Kia ora families
There are over one hundred and fifty children participating in after school sport this term.
We have two cricket teams, two hockey teams, eight netball teams and junior children participating in T Ball skills training.
Many thanks once again to teachers and parents who coach these teams.
Our Year 6 Leaders attend the 'GRIP' Leadership training day on Thursday. They learnt about the following values:
GENEROSITY: Willingness to use what you have been given (time and resources) on behalf of those you seek to influence.
RESPONSIBILITY: We all have a responsibility to develop what we have and help others to live well.
INTEGRITY: A commitment to truth and honesty in dealings.
PEOPLE: Every human being is of great significance, and has a purpose to fulfil.
Our school leaders represented Onekawa School proudly... congratulations children.
Have an awesome weekend!
Nga mihi,
Steve
