Kimberly Diamond comes to Lin Howe from El Marino Language School. She has been a Special Educator for 18 years, 14 years with CCUSD. She holds a Multiple Subject and Specialist Credential as well as a Masters in Special Education. Kimberly was honored with the El Marino Teacher of the Year in 2016 specifically for her work with site-wide PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports). She is a strong believer in building relationships and understands the importance of meeting students where they are while being an advocate for their growth. Outside of school, Kimberly enjoys quality time with her two teenage sons (10th grade and 8th grade) and canine companion, Coco. Her favorite quote is "life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away" by Maya Angelou.

1st Grade Teacher- My name is Zoe Jordan and I'm 23 years old and I got my BA at La Sierra university. I student taught at El Rincon last year and this is my first year teaching! I've wanted to be a teacher since I was 6 years old so this is a full circle moment and I couldn't ask for a better place to have this moment than at Lin Howe!

Kean Flowers is a district mental health counselor who will be supporting some of our students with mental health needs this school year. He earned his Master in Social Welfare from UCLA and holds credentials in both School Social Work and School Counseling. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked for 5 years in the mental health field. Last school year, he was based primarily at El Rincon, and will now extend his services to Lin Howe and El Marino as well. He is excited to support the Sea Dragon community!

He loves traveling the world, reading, the Lakers, playing board games, and anything food/cooking related! Fun fact: he was raised in Australia!

CCUSD is proud to continue to offer our Elementary Instrumental Music Program at all five elementary schools. Currently, students in grades 4th & 5th are offered weekly 30-minute Instrumental instruction.

Calling all 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders... Join the Lin Howe Choir!

The Lin Howe Choir is looking for singers! Do you like to sing? Are you in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade? Then Choir is for you! The Lin Howe Choir meets on Thursday mornings before school, from 8:00-8:35 am in the cafeteria. Choir rehearsals start on Thursday, September 12th. We will have many opportunities to perform throughout the school year. Choir is free, and no experience is necessary. If you would like to sign up for choir, please register here.
