AP Macroeconomics, Psychology, and US Government
- February 4-March 4 - Deadline to pay for 2nd semester AP course exams
AP Course/Exam Fun Facts
- 👀 81% of AP exam takers earned a 3 or higher in 2024! 👀
- The rigor in an AP course is similar to a college level course.
- AP exams are 100% optional and have no bearing on a student's grade in the AP course.
- Students will decide to take and pay for their AP exam in October but don't test until May.
- AP exams cost $40 or $20 if a student is on the Free and Reduced lunch list.
- A student is welcome to challenge any AP exam, even if they are not taking the course.
- Colleges usually award college credit for an exam score of 3, 4, or 5.

- Seniors who need the TSI for college coruse placement are able to register.
- Deadline to register AND pay (CASH ONLY!) is March 21st. This is a hard deadline.

Northeast Lakeview College, Nighthawk Experience

Ronald Reagan PTA Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
- Senior
- PTA member (the applicant's name must be on the RRHS PTA membership roll sheet by the February 28, 2025 deadline - no exceptions.

Patricia Calderon Scholarship
Any high school seniors wishing to apply must meet the following criteria:
- Have maintained a minimum GPA of 85/3.3 throughout their high school career.
- Mail an original, sealed high school transcript to: Attn: Scholarship Committee 1939 NE Loop 410 – Suite 300, San Antonio, TX 78217
- Provide a copy of your acceptance letter from any accredited college or university.
- As an eligibility requirement all students must be a high school senior at the time of the application and reside within Bexar County or be a dependent of an SAPD officer.
CTSFSDA Scholarship
Each year the CTSFSDA (Central Texas School Food Service Directors Association) awards multiple scholarships.

- Attended Hardy Oak Elementary School
- A graduating senior in (2024)
- High school GPA of 2.5 or better at the end of junior year

Dream Major Scholarship
Scholarship Criteria:
- Must be a graduating high school senior (2024 - 2025 school year)
- 3.0 Minimum GPA overall or progression towards an unweighted GPA of 4.00 over four semesters (For the most recently completed cumulative GPA period in 2024 - 2025
- Students must reside and attend a high school in Bexar County.
- Acceptance letter from college/university (copy must be enclosed with application)

Randall P. Palmer III Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship Criteria:
- Must be a graduating high school senior (2024-2025 school year)
- 3.0 Minimum GPA overall or progression towards an un-weighted GPA of 4.00 over four semesters (For the most recently completed cumulative GPA period in 2022-2024)
- Must show financial need
- Must demonstrate community involvement

Las Lomas Alumni Scholarship
Eligibility:
--Completed 5th grade at Las Lomas
--Demonstrate outstanding academic records, extracurricular achievment, and community involvement.

SACXS: Paul Kibler Memorial Scholarship
Requirements to apply:
1.) Plan to attend college full time with a focus on biology, botany, horticulture, or similar
2.) GPA of 3.25+

Alamo College Scholarships - available for all Alamo College locations!
General Eligibility Requirements:
- Full-time (12+ hours) OR part-time (6-11 hours) enrollment.
- 2.00 GPA or greater
- Making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as required by Student Financial Services. (find information about this on the linked webpage below)
- May not be related to any of the Alamo Colleges District Board of Trustees and/or Alamo Colleges Foundation Board Members.
General Information:
- Your application will automatically be considered for ALL Northeast Lakeview College AND Alamo Colleges Foundation Scholarships
- Students selected to receive scholarships will be notified via their student email.
- Students must submit a scholarship application each year for scholarship consideration.
- While not required, to be considered for need-based scholarships, students are encouraged to apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA.

Charles Butt Scholarship
The Charles Butt Scholarship is exclusively for students committed to a teaching career in the Texas public school system in either a Title 1 school or in a shortage subject area (math, science, bilingual, or special education).
The Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers – one component of the Raising Texas Teachers initiative – is designed to encourage promising students to consider a future in the teaching profession. The scholarship consists of $8,000 or $10,000 in annual funding, as well as ongoing professional development opportunities, mentorship from public school educators, and participation in a statewide network of aspiring teachers.

TCU Neeley Analytics Academy
TCU us thrilled to share an exciting opportunity for high school students interested in exploring the dynamic world of data analytics. The TCU Neeley School of Business is hosting a one-week summer residential program, the TCU Neeley Analytics Academy, from July 13-18, 2025. This highly competitive program is designed for students entering 11th or 12th grade who are eager to enhance their skills in data analytics and market research.
During this immersive experience, participants will:
- Engage in hands-on learning led by experienced instructors.
- Explore statistical programs, data-driven storytelling, data visualization, and advanced modeling techniques, including machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Students will also have the opportunity to work on team projects, visit the beautiful TCU campus, and experience college life.

TEXAS A&M Summer Camp in Architecture
Camp ARCH is a one-week residential summer camp for high school students interested in architecture, construction science, landscape architecture, and urban planning. Hosted by Texas A&M University’s College of Architecture, this immersive program features hands-on classes led by faculty experts. You’ll gain foundational skills, work on creative projects and showcase your work at the end of the week.
Campers stay on campus, enjoy meals, spend the night in the dorms and participate in fun social activities while experiencing the Spirit of Aggieland as a prospective college student.

- Dates: July 7-12, 2025
- Cost: $1,500 (includes meals, housing and activities)
- Scholarships: Limited scholarships are available for students with strong academic achievement and financial need.

🪂 Military Information 🪂
The Order of Daedalians is an organization of military aviators. Each summer, the Order sponsors the DFT Program, which introduces highly motivated high school and college students (16 and older) who wish to become military aviators to the thrills and challenges of flight. You can find more information about the Order at www.daedalians.org. The flight and ground training costs are covered by Stinsons Flight #2. The application process is not difficult, but will require some time and effort on your part.
United States Naval Academy Admissions Forum
