Marco Learning is offering midterm review sessions for 15 AP subjects, and students can sign up for as many as they want! Once a student enrolls, they will automatically be registered for the live session and recording. All teachers and students are welcome to attend!

😕 Bad News - There will be a $40 late fee on top of the exam fee.
- Exam Fees: $40 or $20 if student qualifies for the Free & Reduced Lunch program
AP Course/Exam Fun Facts
- 👀 81% of AP exam takers earned a 3 or higher in 2024! 👀
- The rigor in an AP course is similar to a college level course.
- AP exams are 100% optional and have no bearing on a student's grade in the AP course.
- Students will decide to take and pay for their AP exam in October but don't test until May.
- AP exams cost $40 or $20 if a student is on the Free and Reduced lunch list.
- A student is welcome to challenge any AP exam, even if they are not taking the course.
- Colleges usually award college credit for an exam score of 3, 4, or 5.

Trinity University Field Trip

Who: Juniors who are taking at least ONE AP course.
Registration Deadline: February 12, 2025
Registration Steps:
1. Complete online registration form.
2. Return signed permissions slips (2) to Mrs. Wilks via email or in the Career Center.
--Both permission slips are linked in the online registration form.

-Cost = $0
-Excused absence that does NOT count towards exemptions.
-Lunch is provided.

Baumberger Endowment Scholarship
Who Should Apply?
- Graduating seniors of an accredited (TEA) high school within Bexar County, Texas, who cannot attend college without financial assistance.
- Resided in Texas for at least 10 years by August 1, 2025
- SAT of 1080+ or ACT composite score of 22+
- Rank in the upper one-half of the graduating class
- Plan to attend a state-supported or non-denominational college or university within the State of Texas.
Texas Leadership Scholars Program
Eligibility Criteria:
- Senior
- Scholastic record and ability through top 10% or nominated by a high school staff member.
- Evidence of leadership and service within your high school and community.
- Accepted to a participating 4-year institution. (Check HERE)
- Complete Application Process and receive a recommendation from a teacher, counselor, coach, etc. from their graduating high school.

General Eligibility Requirements:
- Full-time (12+ hours) OR part-time (6-11 hours) enrollment.
- 2.00 GPA or greater

- May not be related to any of the Alamo Colleges District Board of Trustees and/or Alamo Colleges Foundation Board Members.
General Information:
- Your application will automatically be considered for ALL Northeast Lakeview College AND Alamo Colleges Foundation Scholarships
- Students selected to receive scholarships will be notified via their student email.
- Students must submit a scholarship application each year for scholarship consideration.

Charles Butt Scholarship
The Charles Butt Scholarship is exclusively for students committed to a teaching career in the Texas public school system in either a Title 1 school or in a shortage subject area (math, science, bilingual, or special education).
The Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers – one component of the Raising Texas Teachers initiative – is designed to encourage promising students to consider a future in the teaching profession. The scholarship consists of $8,000 or $10,000 in annual funding, as well as ongoing professional development opportunities, mentorship from public school educators, and participation in a statewide network of aspiring teachers.

TEXAS A&M Summer Camp in Architecture
Camp ARCH is a one-week residential summer camp for high school students interested in architecture, construction science, landscape architecture, and urban planning. Hosted by Texas A&M University’s College of Architecture, this immersive program features hands-on classes led by faculty experts. You’ll gain foundational skills, work on creative projects and showcase your work at the end of the week.
Campers stay on campus, enjoy meals, spend the night in the dorms and participate in fun social activities while experiencing the Spirit of Aggieland as a prospective college student.
