Pop Show & Soloist Results
Pop Show is just two weeks away! Each class is working quickly and passionately to put together an amazing performance. Soloists and small group results can be found below. Truly, thank you to everyone who auditioned. We were blown away by the talent showcased over both days!
Additionally, each class will have specific attire for Pop Show (we will not have pop show t-shirts this year). Please refer to the attire information sheet linked below to make sure you're prepared with the correct uniform.
Below is important information about Pop Show rehearsals and the performance:

Friday, May 2 | 3–6 PM – Soloist Tech Rehearsal (for those selected for a solo or small group)

Monday, May 5 | 3–5 PM – Full Tech Rehearsal (MANDATORY)

Tuesday, May 6 | 7:00 PM – Pop Show Performance (Call time: 6:00 PM)
Pop Show Raffle Baskets & Concessions
We still need raffle basket donations for Pop Show! Raffle tickets will be sold before the show and during intermission for a chance to win one of four themed baskets—each created by a choir class and organized by our Booster Club. Raffle Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Use the sign-up link below to donate items. All donations are due by Thursday, May 1.

End of Year Fundraiser
We’re kicking off our end-of-year fundraiser for Klein High Choir! We’re excited to partner with Vertical Raise to sell gourmet popcorn to family, friends, and community members. All sales will take place online through text, email, and social media, making it easy and hassle-free for everyone involved. There’s no need to handle cash, checks, or deliveries, the entire process is digital and fully automated.
Today students received a contact info collection sheet (HERE) to fill out this weekend. Students who bring 10 or more names on this sheet will receive a sweet treat from Mrs. Berger on Monday!
This Wednesday, a representative from Vertical Raise will visit to share more details with students and officially launch the fundraiser. Thank you in advance for your generous support of the Klein High Choir!
Booster Club Info
We are still looking for new leaders for the 2025–2026 Choir Booster Club! With several board positions opening as senior parents step down, this is a great opportunity to get involved. Our Booster Club is made up of dedicated parents in manageable roles—and we’d love to have you join us!

Uniform Return
Formal choir uniforms are due by Thursday, May 1. Students must dry clean their dress or tux (jacket and pants) and return it with their name and dry cleaning receipt. A clothing rack will be available before and after school. Unreturned uniforms may affect final exam exemptions, as they are Klein ISD property. This weekend is a great time to drop uniforms off at the cleaners!
Choir Auditions
Auditions for the 2025–2026 choir year begin next week. They will take place during class over the following weeks and wrap up by mid-May. Students auditioning for Chorale or Chamber Choir must submit a signed contract. Contracts have been passed out in class and are also available on Schoology. Chamber Choir callbacks will be held on Tuesday, May 13, from 2:45–4:00 PM.
Banquet
Banquet tickets are on sale now and are due next week (Friday, May 2) for $25 per person. Students and parents are invited to join us for a fun evening of awards, photos, dancing, and great food.
The banquet will take place on Thursday, May 8, from 5–9 PM at the Klein Multi-Purpose Center. Please bring cash or check (made out to KHS choir booster club) to class.
Choir Officer Applications
Only a few days left to apply for a choir officer position. Applications are due Tuesday, April 30, and all materials can be found in Schoology. To apply, please submit:

Students running for President, Vice President, or Director’s Aide will also interview with the choir directors after school on April 30 and May 1. A sign up sheet will be posted in the choir room next week.
Klein ISD GPA Exempt Courses
Klein ISD offers a GPA Exempt Course option for juniors and seniors, allowing students to exempt up to two credits (one per year) from GPA calculations. This encourages participation in fine arts, athletics, and other extracurricular programs without impacting weighted GPA. Courses like Choir qualify! For details and eligibility requirements, please review the attachment below or contact your student’s counselor.
