NJHS Winter Gear Drive
Hello Salk families,
The 2024-2025 Salk Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) has recently been formed, and we wanted to do something to help our community. We have decided to do a winter gear drive. This includes new hats, gloves, scarves, and socks. We feel with the cold that people may need the gear. Donating is NOT an expectation or requirement. If you could, it would be greatly appreciated. We will be collecting the gear from January 6 through January 17. The homerooms in second and third place will receive pop, popcorn, and a movie. The homeroom in first place will get donuts in addition to pop, popcorn, and a movie. I hope you all have a wonderful new year!
Student Tardy Support
SMS Parents,
Here at SMS, we continue creating classroom experiences that are engaging and that offer great educational experiences for your student. An important piece of this is ensuring students are in the classroom on-time and ready to learn. Please take a moment to discuss with your student the importance of coming on-time and being prepared in the classroom.
In addition, please know that you can monitor your child's attendance and tardies via Campus Portal. This includes setting up notifications for any attendance issues. Click here for information and support regarding Campus Portal.
