Show your Leyden spirit by dressing up each day for Spirit Week!

• TODAY - dress up as a celebrity or paparazzi
• Tuesday, Oct. 1st - dress up as your future career or college
• Wednesday, Oct. 2nd - dress up as security guards
• Thursday, Oct. 3rd - dress up as the decade your class chose
• Friday, Oct. 4th - dress in pajamas

Kickoff Homecoming week & show your school spirit with the Homecoming court, athletes, band, color guard, poms, and cheerleaders.

When: Monday, September 30th at 6pm

Where: West Leyden Field House

Cheer on the varsity football players as they take on Morton. Enjoy a special halftime show with multiple performances.

When: Saturday, October 5th at 1pm

Where: West Leyden Football Stadium

Theme: Dress in your best Hawaiian attire

Dance the night away with the DJ, hop in the 360 degree photo booth, take pics at the "Big Top" backdrop, and eat traditional circus snacks!

When: Saturday, October 5th from 7pm - 10pm

Where: West Leyden Field House

• Tickets will be on sale Mon, Sept 30th through Thurs, Oct 3rd during all lunch periods in the Student Activities Office (mezzanine). Tickets will NOT be sold on Friday, Oct 4th. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door on the night of the dance.

• You must have your Leyden plastic ID or Minga ID to purchase a ticket. You can NOT purchase tickets for other students (unless they are a non-Leyden guest...see info below).

• Tickets are $20/each. Cash or checks (made payable to Leyden High Schools) will be the ONLY forms of payment accepted.

• Students who wants to bring a non-Leyden guest must get a "Guest Form" from the Dean's office. Guest forms must be completed & approved in the Dean's Office by 3pm on Wednesday, October 2nd. You must bring the approved guest form with you to purchase your guest ticket.

Fighting 4 Females are selling pink terry wristbands from October 1st - October 4th. wristbands cost $3.00 for 1 or $5.00 for 2. All proceeds will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Find a Fighting 4 Females member to make your purchase and/or give a donation. And be sure to wear your wristband to show your support at the PINK OUT football game on Friday, October 11th. Thank you for your support!

Are you a female identifying sophomore, junior, or senior looking to develop leadership skills, earn volunteer hours and support youth/female empowerment?

If so, check out Project Glimmer. Applications for the Fall Empowerment Academy are being accepted until October 7th. If selected for the academy, students can earn a $500 stipend once they complete the program (consisting of 6 virtual sessions).
