Boosterthon is Coming!
Our AGMS Color Run fundraiser will be kicking off in just a few weeks! We are working together to raise $20,000 for PTO-sponsored events and to update the weight room at the school. Our goal is to make this our one major fundraiser of the year and eliminate a lot of the small fundraisers throughout the year. This is going to benefit all students at AGMS and streamline our fundraising process for maximum success without fatiguing our families throughout the year! We appreciate your support in helping us do that!
Join us for 2 weeks of fundraising and fun! The Color Run campaign, powered by Booster, promotes fitness and teamwork, while also helping our school raise some much-needed funds!
Student Learning Spotlight
8th Grade English
In class this week, students practiced using different strategies to discern the meaning of unknown vocabulary words. Using the I.D.E.A.S. approach, students used inferencing, definition, example, antonyms, and synonyms to define new vocabulary terms. Here's a picture of some student collaboration in Mrs. Thierry's class.
