Board of Education Celebrates Staff Achievements
At the May 16 Board of Education meeting, we proudly recognized staff members for their dedicated years of service—honoring those who reached milestones of 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years. The Board also celebrated this year’s retirees and Stacy Storey, Educator of the Year.
We are grateful for the commitment and impact each of these individuals has made on our students and school community.

Spotted at ZESD 6
- Lakeview Elementary held its Spring Fling Family Fun Night, featuring carnival games like bag toss, relay races, a book/cake walk, and make-and-take activities. The event also included a special dedication of a buddy bench to honor the memory of a student who passed away this year.
- ZCMS held Discovery Night on Wednesday evening, welcoming families to explore hands-on STEAM activities that highlighted student learning throughout the year. The event also included an orientation for incoming sixth graders, giving them a chance to tour classrooms and meet their future teachers.
- Second graders from Beulah Park Elementary recently visited West Elementary for a firsthand look at the school they’ll join next school year. During their visit, students toured the building, met third-grade teachers, and learned what life is like as a West Wildcat in preparation for the 2025–2026 school year.
