• Band Camp: August 5, 7, 8 (competition group only 8am-noon)) and 12, 14, 15, 16 (marching band class 8am-4pm)
• STEM Boot Camp: August 14th (STEM Academy Students 9th/10th)
• New Student Orientation: August 15th, 16th (ALL new students)
• LMHS Open House: August 20th
• First Day of School: August 26th

Parking permits will be on sale beginning August 19th. All students must register for a pass and pay a $60 parking fee if they would like to park on campus for the 2024-2025 school year. FCS parking regulations and agreement form must be reviewed and completed prior to registration.

Franklin County Schools will be having tech event days for parents to sign paperwork and pay fees, and optional warranty, at the following sites/dates before the start of school:

• Youngsville ES- July 16, 12-6 PM
• Early College HS- Freshman, July 29, 5-7 PM; Upper grades, August 1, 5-7 PM
• Bunn corridor- Monday, August 5, 8am-5pm @ Bunn Middle School
• Franklinton corridor- Wednesday, August 7, 8am-5pm @ Cedar Creek Middle School
• Louisburg corridor- Thursday, August 8, 8am-5pm @ Terrell Lane Middle School

FCS Technology Department will also have a table set up at our Open House on August 20th for families to complete the required Annual Usage Agreement Form, optional Chrome Care Warranty Form, and pay fees. To expedite this process, we ask that you sign the Annual Usage Agreement and ChromeCare Warranty Form online before coming to Open House. Directions on how to do this are below.

The required $10 Technology Usage Fee and optional $26 Chrome Care Warranty fee will still need to be paid in person. Cash or a check made payable to FCS Tech will be accepted forms of payment. Please bring the exact payment amount.

Completing the forms online is required in order for students to have access to any FCS technology.

Online Agreement Form Directions

Fall Athletics Parent Night is this week on Thursday, August 8th at 6pm in the gym. This meeting is required for all parents of athletes participating in a fall sport.

We would like to give a big shout out to our custodial team for working so hard to take care of several projects over the summer. They have done lots of heavy lifting and deep cleaning to help make our school a great place to learn and work. When you see Mr. Ward and Mr. Richardson, please share your appreciation with a big thank you!

I’ve called Franklin County home for the past 15 years. I hold a B.A. in Art Applications with a minor in Gender studies and a concentration in Sociology from NCSU and I am licensed to teach Special Education General Curriculum and English Language Arts for grades 9-12. I’m also an Army Veteran.

Over the last decade, I’ve worked as an EC/ English teacher, and for the past six years, I’ve been the FCA club sponsor at FHS. I’ve also served as the team leader for the EC Department for the last eight years.

Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s in School Counseling at Liberty University, with graduation anticipated in June 2025. In my free time, I enjoy family activities, serving at my church, tending to my mini farm, and traveling. I’m excited to start a new journey at LMHS and become a Warrior!!
